SplitMyBuck was born out of a Shimla trip where nobody agreed on who owed what. We built the tool we wished existed.
In 2026, three friends returned from a Shimla trip with a WhatsApp group full of "bhai tu kitna dega?" messages and zero clarity on who owed what. One of them was a developer. A few months later, after a lot of thinking, the first version of SplitMyBuck was live.
What started as a weekend project became something thousands of people can use daily. We realised splitting bills is genuinely stressful — and existing tools were too complex or not built for Indian users.
Today SplitMyBuck is used by daily travellers and people across India. It's free, works on any device, and your data syncs everywhere because it lives on our secure cloud servers.
